Wilhelm Steinitz – 1st Classical World Champ

Blog Coaching Discussion Forum

Today I will give a brief account of the first Chess world champ. Please note that this is really just to whet your appetite. Remember it is up to you to decide who you think the greatest chess player in existence is or was.

Thus as a coach it would be good if you could add more trivia, look at the playing style of the world champ and even study a few of the games that are available with your students.

Till next time, burn the chess candle on both ends.
